Athletes Unlimited is hiring a Producer, Video responsible for filming, editing, and producing video content to be distributed across multiple channels and social platforms for all of our professional sports leagues. This role will work in collaboration with members of the video team to develop and produce video content that elevates the AU brand and resonates with current and potential sports fans. You will be responsible for delivering social highlight packages, short-form video features and series, marketing promos, event recaps, and a variety of other projects. You possess a passion for pushing the viewership of women’s sports forward through digital storytelling. You will report to the Director, Video, and be a part of the wider Social & Content team.
Responsibilites
- Capture, edit, and produce video content for social platforms, in-venue video board, internal stakeholder presentations, and marketing broadcast spots
- Oversee day-to-day social video content including game highlights, mic’d ups, quick hit video trends, special announcements, hype reels, and more
- Own the end-to-end production of video features, branded content, and original series, including setting the creative vision, capturing and editing content, and the development and delivery of creative output
- Cover in-season events and lifestyle, including media days, games, community appearances, and events, player shoots/interviews, and extracurricular activities among players
- Work in collaboration with other members of the content team to pitch and edit social-driven content
- Maintain a media management file system for the Athletes Unlimited video content archive
- Stay informed on developing storylines connected to Athletes Unlimited’s players and mission
- Manage freelancers and creative contributors, including shoots, editors, influencers, and on-site production talent
- Collaborate with other members of the content team on the latest video trends, software, and tools
- 3-5 years experience working in a similar role, preferably in the sports or creative industry
- Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite and the post-production content delivery process, including captioning and file delivery for traditional video players and social platforms
- Able to manage all aspects of the on-site production process including recording sound, lighting, and working with athlete talent
- Creative, organized, responsible, collaborative, and thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Experienced with Sony DSLR & cinema cameras
- Comfortable working on different projects simultaneously, often with competing deadlines
- Familiarity with Athletes Unlimited’s current format and sports: basketball, softball, and volleyball a plus
- Travel approximately 30-40% of the time, during season
- Legal authorization to work in the United States

This role is full-time, remote and is compensated at a range of $60,000-$65,000 annually. While this is the intended range, the actual compensation may vary based on several factors including but not limited to qualifications, skills, and geographic location of the position. We anticipate the highest end of the range will be reserved for those who exceed the hiring committee’s expectations on all measures of the evaluation process.
