Nature of Work:
In this role, you will identify all logistical and operational requirements and plan, coordinate, and manage event operations before, during, and after all Denver Summit FC events. This role oversees event timelines, vendor management, on-site operations, staffing, budgeting, and compliance to ensure seamless, high-quality event experiences. The ideal candidate excels at multitasking, problem-solving, and leading teams in a fast-paced environment. This role is a leadership-forward role that blends real-time decision-making with strategic planning.

Examples of work performed:
  • Hire, train, manage, and onboard Events Operations Coordinator; and
  • Hire, train, manage, and motivate all Events Services Staff; and
  • Lead on-site venue operations, including load-in, setup, event flow, and strike; and
  • Create and distribute event preparation materials as it relates to checklists, timing, room assignments, maps, and any other items needed for the event; and
  • Develop, oversee, and track detailed event budgets, monitoring expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness; and
  • Work closely with the Director of Safety and Security for any event related set-up needs; and
  • Work closely with the Director of Guest Services for any event related needs; and
  • Support the creation of event policies and procedures and continuously monitor adherence. Recommend updates to improve effectiveness and efficiency. Distribute policies and procedures to staff, vendors, and service providers, ensuring understanding and compliance; and
  • Manage relationships with external service providers, specifically parking and cleaning, ensuring they fulfill contractual obligations and align with event timelines. Oversee vendor performance to ensure quality and service standards are met; and
  • Oversee the conversion of venue spaces for all events, meetings and different types of needs; and
  • Maintain consistent communication with Sales & Service leadership to monitor fan feedback to maintain and enhance fan experience for all Denver Summit FC matches and other events hosted at Denver Summit FC properties; and
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands:
  • Typical Office Conditions
  • Primary location to be at Permanent Stadium once completed
  • Travel between facilities as necessary
  • Would require workspace hoteling at certain facilities
  • Lift 50 lbs. daily
  • Work in extreme weather conditions

Qualifications:
Minimum
  • BS/BA degree in Sport Management, Hospitality, or related field
  • 5+ years’ experience in the field of Professional Sports, Live Entertainment, or Hospitality
  • Experience with recruiting, hiring, training, managing, motivating a team
  • Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
Preferred
  • Experience within Professional Soccer (NWSL, MLS, or USSF)
  • Experience either working with or working for 3rd party contracted groups
  • Experience either working with or working for Public Safety Agencies (Police, Fire, Intelligence, EMS, Military, etc.)
  • Ability to acquire or produce and maintain a valid driver’s license and meet company vehicle driving standards.

Compensation:
  • Base salary range $65,000 - $75,000 per annum
  • Eligible for annual discretionary bonus
