Position Overview
The VP of Marketing will oversee the long-term marketing planning and strategy for both the men and women’s club.
Core Experience & Expertise


  • Professional Sports Experience: Deep, high-level experience in professional
    sports, with a heavy preference for the soccer landscape (MLS, USL, or
    International).
  • Market Knowledge: Someone who understands the cultural nuances,
    neighborhoods, and what makes Brooklyn the world's most unique market.
  • Revenue Focused: A track record of directly moving the needle with
    a focus on ticket sales, merch and sponsorships.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Expert-level fluency in CRM, fan data,
    and attribution models.
Digital & Community Strategy


  • Social & Viral Growth: Expert knowledge of social platforms and
    content loops that drive engagement and convert followers into ticket
    buyers.
  • Community: Experience building from scratch. Understanding of how to
    engage local supporter groups and grassroots Brooklyn organizations.
  • Brand Positioning: Ability to position Brooklyn FC as a lifestyle
    brand that translates beyond the pitch—making the crest something people
    want to wear regardless of the score.
Leadership & Mindset
  • Start-Up Mentality: Comfortable with an expansion environment.
    Senior but willing to roll up their sleeves.
  • Career Path: Someone currently at a Director, Senior Director or VP
    level at a major club/agency who is ready to stake their reputation on this
    launch.
  • Analytics: Proficiency in using analytics to optimize ROAS and LTV.

Salary range: $250,000-$300,000
