POSITION SUMMARY
Empower Sports and Entertainment, LLC is seeking reliable, detail-oriented VIP Hospitality & Special Events Game Day Staff to support the execution of premium experiences and special events for Carolina Ascent FC matchdays at American Legion Memorial Stadium.
This position plays a key role in delivering a first-class guest experience by assisting with VIP Dining operations, hospitality setup, special events, fan activations, and matchday logistics. Game Day Staff will work closely with the Director of Stadium Events & Operations and matchday leadership team to ensure all hospitality and event elements are executed smoothly from setup through breakdown.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Assist with VIP Dining and premium hospitality operations before, during, and after matches.
- Support setup and breakdown of VIP spaces, including tables, linens, décor, signage, displays, and other hospitality materials.
- Assist with catering setup, guest readiness, and maintaining a welcoming VIP environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service to VIP guests, partners, and supporters throughout matchday.
- Monitor hospitality areas during events and communicate any guest needs or operational issues to leadership.
- Assist with matchday entertainment elements, including national anthem performances, halftime entertainment, special guests, and activations.
- Support fan engagement opportunities, partner activations, and special event experiences.
- Communicate effectively with event staff, vendors, and internal departments to support seamless event execution.
- Assist with post-event cleanup, breakdown, and organization of event materials and hospitality assets.
COMPENSATION
- $16.00 per hour, paid on the 15th and last day of the month.
- Game Day Staff can expect to work approximately 4–5 hours per home match, depending on game-day assignments and operational needs.
- Opportunities to work additional club events and special events may become available throughout the season.
SCHEDULE AND AVAILABILITY
This seasonal, part-time position works all Carolina Ascent FC home matches and select club events. Team members are expected to:
- Arrive prior to stadium gates opening.
- Work the full matchday shift.
- Remain through postgame responsibilities until dismissed by Game Day Leadership.
Additional matches, playoff games, and club events may be available throughout the season.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be available for Carolina Ascent FC home matchdays, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
- Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, events, or sports operations preferred but not required.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during events.
- Ability to assist with moving and organizing event materials.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and professional.
WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Work takes place in a live stadium environment, both indoors and outdoors.
- Position requires extended periods of standing, walking, and active event support.
- Matchdays may include loud environments, changing conditions, and extended hours.
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced event setting.
