THE OPPORTUNITY
The LPGA's Senior Business Intelligence Analyst leads advanced analytics and insight generation to inform LPGA and Epson Tour business strategies across marketing, content, communications, sponsorship, and emerging growth brands. This role drives strategic decision-making by delivering high-impact qualitative and quantitative insights, guiding measurement frameworks, and influencing revenue and fan growth initiatives.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Lead the translation of complex TV, digital, and asset data into strategic insights and recommendations for senior stakeholders to drive informed business decisions.
- Manage and evolve relationships with third-party data and measurement vendors (Nielsen, SponsorUnited, YouGov, Zoomph, etc.), ensuring data integrity, optimal utilization, and value realization.
- Own the development and delivery of weekly tournament performance reporting across linear and digital consumption, providing executive-level narratives and actionable recommendations.
- Serve as a strategic analytics partner to corporate partnerships teams and clients, delivering audience and fan insights that strengthen proposals and drive revenue growth.
- Oversee the tracking, governance, and synthesis of weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance metrics across LPGA brands (viewership, web, video, social, media consumption).
- Partner with leadership to define measurement strategies and translate business needs into scalable dashboards, reporting frameworks, and data visualizations.
- Consult with business stakeholders to identify intelligence needs and design tailored analytical solutions aligned with organizational objectives.
- Conduct advanced analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, translating findings into actionable strategic insights.
- Generate insights that support acquisition and retention of corporate partnerships, including title partners and official marketing partners.
- Guide survey design and analytics initiatives supporting marketing strategy and fan base growth.
- Champion data storytelling best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of analytics processes, tools, and methodologies. Mentor junior analysts and promote knowledge sharing across the analytics function.
WHO YOU ARE
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, analytics, data, or market research; MBA a plus
- Minimum of 3–5 years of research or data analytics experience preferred
- Experience mining & analyzing syndicated research resources (e.g., YouGov, Nielsen, Zoomph, etc.)
- Strong proficiency in Power BI, including dashboard development and data visualization
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis tools
- Strong analytical, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, concise insights and presentations
- Strong storytelling and data visualization skills, with the ability to build compelling narratives from multiple data sources
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver accurate work under tight deadlines
- Strong Microsoft Office skills and ability to quickly learn new tools with minimal training
- Must be a team player with a passion for understanding consumer behavior
