THE OPPORTUNITY
This position will support the donor cultivation, stewardship, and fundraising efforts. This role includes managing donor communication, preparing gift acknowledgments, coordinating logistics for fundraising events, and maintaining donor records. The position works closely with internal teams and external partners to support the Foundation’s mission and growth.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Manage donor stewardship process, including acknowledgement letters, thank you cards, donor appreciation gifts, and other communications via phone and email
- Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
- Provide administrative support for events, auctions, partner activations, and general donations
- Maintain donor database, including updating donor records, data entry, and pulling reports
- Process incoming gifts and ensure that gifts are accurately recorded and thanked
- Analyze donor giving patterns to increase donor retention, contributions, and engagement
- Assist in developing materials used for cultivation, stewardship, and solicitation
- Collaborate across LPGA departments to help contribute to the success of Foundation programs
- Be knowledgeable and continually update colleagues on all ongoing projects.
- Handle other special projects as assigned.
WHO YOU ARE
- Bachelor’s degree required, emphasis in Business, Marketing, Sports Marketing, or another related field preferred.
- 2+ years of professional experience in fundraising, donor relations, development, philanthropy, nonprofit administration, or a related field preferred.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; must be able to independently write professional, error-free correspondence.
- Superior interpersonal skills and ability to provide excellent service to all donors and team members.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and manage emergent issues. Possess a high level of energy and be self-motivated.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to multi-task, meet deadlines, and demonstrate flexibility when workload or priorities change.
- Detail oriented with strong project management skills.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Experience with Windows software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) required.
- Ability to travel periodically, as needed
