About LOVB LOVB is a rapidly growing volleyball organization built on a “club to pro” ecosystem, connecting youth clubs and a professional league in the U.S. and working with major partners and sponsors. The organization emphasizes marketing, community development, event operations, athlete engagement, and brand growth across multiple channels and geographies. Role Overview The Senior Marketing & Operations Manager will play a dual-hybrid role, leading both strategic marketing efforts and operational execution tied to Merchandising. You will take the overall strategy and bring it to life from an operational lens via our Milestone Meeting Process and our Marketing Execution by with internal stakeholders. You will help shape LOVB’s brand, drive customer and retention, support event/venue operations, and optimize systems and processes for scale. This role requires both creative marketing leadership and operational discipline. Key Responsibilities Operations responsibilities include: - Own and execute end to end Milestone Meeting Calendar, ensuring total company accountability
- Own Merchant calendar and all Deliverables
- Own Travel Calendar tied to Budget in alignment with GM
- Owns external vendor set up for licensing and collaborations
- Ensure operational systems, processes and documentation are established for scalability and efficiency
- Work cross-functionally with merchants, planners, ecom, marketing, partnerships team across Inc, Pro, and Club.
- Support the logistics of campaigns
- Monitor and improve operational KPIs
Marketing responsibilities include: - Connection to our Total Brand Marketing team from a Merchandising lens
- Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies to drive Merchandise revenue
- Oversee content planning and production, including storytelling for youth-club, pro team, and community initiatives.
- Merch rep for ambassador programs, focus groups, and athlete engagement
- Collaborate with partnerships to activate brand partners and amplify their assets
- Analyze marketing performance: lead KPI tracking
- Help manage marketing budget and timelines
Qualifications & Experience - 7-10+ years of combined marketing and operations experience; in retail, in sports, entertainment, consumer brand, or high-growth environment.
- Proven success developing and executing omnichannel marketing campaigns with measurable growth outcomes.
- Strong operational acumen: experience with milestone meeting calendar management
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving organization; ability to be hands-on and strategic.
- Excellent leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills. Able to influence without direct line authority.
- Highly analytical: able to interpret data, draw insights, and translate into action.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; experience working with external partners (sponsors, agencies).
- Experience with budget management, vendor contracts, process improvement.
