WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a visionary principal engineer with a passion for building world-class data platforms and services. You thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and have a proven track record of leading high-impact technical initiatives.

Skillset Required

  • 15+ years of experience in software development, with a strong foundation in distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, and data platforms.

  • Deep expertise in big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Kafka, and real-time analytics databases.

  • Mastery of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP and their ecosystem of data services.

  • Strong understanding of data governance and security architecture.

  • Proven ability to drive major technical change and gain consensus across multiple teams and departments.

  • Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Ability to influence without authority and navigate highly ambiguous situations.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

  • Define and own the multi-year technical roadmap for the data platform.

  • Lead the architectural design for complex, cross-cutting initiatives.

  • Evaluate and champion the adoption of emerging technologies and architectural patterns.

  • Establish and enforce engineering best practices, design patterns, and quality standards.

  • Mentor senior engineers and team leads, fostering the next generation of technical leaders.

  • Solve the most challenging technical problems and act as the ultimate escalation point for critical production issues.

  • Communicate complex technical concepts and trade-offs to senior leadership and non-technical stakeholders
