Position Summary
The In-Arena DJ provides music and sound services designed to create an energetic and engaging game day atmosphere and enhance the fan experience at PWHL Las Vegas home games.
Services
- Prepare and curate music for pregame, gameplay, stoppages, media timeouts, intermissions and postgame.
- Collaborate with the Game Presentation team and coordinate music and sound cues through headset communication.
- Read the crowd and use music selections to build energy, excitement and engagement throughout the game.
- Coordinate music selections with the game presentation script and adapt selections based on the flow of the game and fan experience.
- Coordinate with the production team on music cues, features, promotions and special moments.
- Collaborate with the Game Presentation and Production teams in the delivery of game day services.
- Maintain an organized and current music library appropriate for a professional sports environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be available to provide services at all 13 PWHL Las Vegas home games.
- Previous experience as a live event or sports DJ.
- Strong knowledge of music across a variety of genres and audiences.
- Ability to multitask and make quick decisions in a fast-paced live environment.
- Strong communication, organization and time management skills.
- Professional, collaborative, and reliable.
- Candidate must be able to deliver services on-site.
- This engagement is based in the United States. Applicants must be legally entitled to provide services as an independent contractor in the United States. The PWHL does not sponsor visas or work authorization for this engagement.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to read the crowd and adapt music selections throughout the game.
- Flexibility to provide services on evenings and weekends as required.

The PWHL will not withhold income tax, CPP/EI (Canada), or Social Security/Medicare (U.S.) from contractor payments.
