Position Summary
The In-Arena Host provides live hosting and fan engagement services through on-camera segments, promotional activations and scripted entertainment elements, helping create an energetic, welcoming and memorable game day experience.
Services
  • Deliver scripted material in a fun, engaging and professional manner.
  • Host live camera segments, promotions, contests and fan engagement moments throughout the game.
  • Collaborate with Stage Managers and the Game Presentation team to coordinate cues and segments.
  • Engage with fans both on camera and throughout the venue.
  • Adapt quickly to changes in the game presentation and live event environment.
  • Maintain a strong and confident on camera presence with a live microphone.
  • Participate in mutually scheduled rehearsals, run-throughs and other game day preparation.
Required Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Previous experience hosting live sporting and/or entertainment events.
  • Must be available to provide services at all 13 PWHL Las Vegas home games.
  • Strong on camera presence and microphone skills.
  • Ability to effectively deliver scripted material and coordinate with Game Presentation personnel.
  • Strong communication, organization and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to provide services effectively in a fast-paced live environment.
  • Professional, reliable, and collaborative.
  • Candidate must be able to deliver services on-site.
  • This engagement is based in the United States. Applicants must be legally entitled to provide services as an independent contractor in the United States. The PWHL does not sponsor visas or work authorization for this engagement.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of and passion for the PWHL and hockey.
  • Flexibility to provide services on evenings and weekends as required.

Independent Contractor Engagement
This is an independent contractor engagement, not an employee position. The contractor is not eligible for PWHL employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plan participation, paid time off, or workers’ compensation coverage. The PWHL will not withhold income tax, CPP/EI (Canada), or Social Security/Medicare (U.S.) from contractor payments.
