Racing Louisville FC is Kentucky’s top-tier professional women’s soccer team competing in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL). Founded in 2021 as an NWSL expansion club, Racing is operated by Soccer Holdings, LLC, the same organization behind Louisville City FC. The Team’s roster features both World Cup winners and national team-caliber players. Racing plays its home matches at Lynn Family Stadium and trains at the Lynn Family Sports Vision & Training Center in Louisville, KY.

Our Club is seeking a dynamic and passionate professional to join our technical staff as an Assistant Coach. This individual will play a key role in the development, training, and performance of top-tier professional athletes, working collaboratively with the Head Coach and technical staff to support all aspects of team operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Plan, conduct, and supervise team practices, training camps, and sessions as directed by the Head Coach.
  • Support the team during all matches, including exhibitions, regular season, playoffs, tournaments, and international competitions.
  • Assist in the preparation and analysis of training sessions, team meetings, and match performance using video and data.
  • Provide individual and group instruction; coordinate personalized training plans for players.
  • Support the development of game strategies and scout opposing teams.
  • Collaborate with technical staff to oversee off-season player development programs.
  • Participate in player evaluation and scouting for drafts, combines, and acquisitions.
  • Offer input on roster development and player signings within budget parameters and club approval.
  • Represent the Club in promotional, sponsorship, and community relations events as requested.
  • Ensure compliance with all Club and NWSL rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
  • Minimum USSF B License or UEFA Equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working in a high-performance soccer setting, experience working with female athletes preferred.
  • Possesses a strong understanding of women’s soccer and the NWSL.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions using sound judgment.
  • Able to work constructively and positively in supporting colleagues and all aspects of club development and success.
  • Demonstrated qualities of honesty, integrity, credibility, and solid work ethic.
  • Must be able to work outside normal working hours, particularly on weekends and evenings.
  • Must successfully pass a pre-employment comprehensive background check.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States or able to obtain work authorization through employer-sponsored visa support.

SCHEDULE:
This is a full-time position that will require frequent travel, as well as evening, weekend, and holiday work as required by the team’s schedule. This position will require frequent use of a motor vehicle. A valid driver's license and insurance is required.
