SUMMARY:
The Player Engagement Coordinator supports all aspects of onboarding and relocation logistics for new players, ensuring a seamless and well-supported transition into the Club. Beyond initial integration, the Coordinator provides comprehensive, ongoing support to first-team players, staff, and their families throughout the season—helping them adjust to daily life, navigate resources, and feel fully connected to the Club and community. This role requires regular domestic travel, occasional international travel, and a flexible schedule aligned with a professional sports environment, including nights, weekends, and occasional holidays.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
  • Assist new players with all relocation and settlement needs, including but not limited to: onboarding workflows, housing, transportation, schooling, banking, and obtaining a Social Security number.
  • Work with the Director to secure appropriate visas for international players and their families, and support the Permanent Residency process when applicable.
  • Provide hospitality and support for players’ families and guests at home matches.
  • Distribute player ticket allocations for home and away matches.
  • Serve as a direct point of communication regarding day-to-day player needs.
  • Accompany players to select community and club-related events.
  • Plan and implement team social and engagement events.
  • Attend regular staff and departmental meetings.
  • Travel with the team as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Soccer President, Sporting Director, Head Coach, or Director of Team Administration.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Two (2) years of administrative, hospitality, or player support experience with a professional or collegiate sports team.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Strong multitasking ability, particularly with time-sensitive tasks.
  • Ability to remain composed and effective under pressure.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment.
  • Knowledge of administrative practices, operating procedures, and basic budgeting/accounting concepts.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and non-traditional hours to support team schedules.
  • Ability to travel as required.
  • Ability to pass a background check and obtain SafeSport certification.
  • Discretion and integrity in handling sensitive or confidential information.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Fluency in Spanish or another language commonly used by international players.
• Experience working in MLS, NWSL, or another professional soccer league, or strong knowledge of league operations.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position requires regular lifting or pushing of 15–20 pounds and occasional lifting/pushing of 50–60 pounds or more. Work may include standing, kneeling, bending, and other physical activity in varied environmental conditions.
