Position Description

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Management Coordinator to join the Brand Creative Team at U.S. Soccer. In this role, you will support the planning, coordination, and delivery of creative projects that bring our brand to life across digital, social, and print platforms.

The Project Management Coordinator will work closely with the Brand & Creative leadership team, internal departments, and external partners to track timelines, manage deliverables, and ensure clear communication throughout the project lifecycle. This position is ideal for someone eager to grow their project management and creative skills in a fast-paced, collaborative, and creative environment.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Support brand and creative projects from kickoff through final delivery.
  • Assist in managing project timelines, task lists, and deliverables using project management tools (e.g., Asana, Airtable).
  • Help receive and organize creative requests, ensuring all details are captured and logged accurately.
  • Coordinate feedback and approvals from internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Track and communicate project progress, upcoming deadlines, and next steps.
  • Assist in photography planning for both match days and other U.S. Soccer events.
  • Support workload balancing and scheduling for the Brand & Creative team.
  • Help maintain systems for proofing (PageProof), and project documentation.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the Brand & Creative department.
  • Collaborate with teams across the Federation (Marketing, Digital, Communications, Partnerships, etc.) to align creative deliverables with organizational goals.
  • Archive completed projects for future reference and reporting.
  • Play a key role in digital asset management throughout the organization.
  • Share inspiration and best practices from design, sports, and other industries.
Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of professional experience in project coordination, production, or a related role (internships or agency experience welcome).
  • An understanding of the creative development process from start to finish.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
  • Familiarity with project management or collaboration software (e.g., Asana, Airtable, Slack).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to a highly collaborative team.
  • General knowledge of or enthusiasm for soccer.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience working in Box or OneDrive.
  • Must be able to connect “micro” details to the “macro” vision and mission
  • Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Atlanta, GA by January 2026.
  • Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays when necessary.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Ability to execute small scale creative work using standard programs (Figma, Photoshop, etc.).
  • Creative production experience.
  • Photography production experience.
  • Previous experience in sports, agency, or entertainment industries.
