UTA seeks a Technical Program Manager to support and coordinate cross-functional technology projects that enable innovation and efficiency across the agency. This role works closely with stakeholders across Technology, Product, Finance, and Operations to ensure programs are well-planned, well-communicated, and successfully delivered. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, technical understanding, and a collaborative mindset. This person thrives in complex environments, balances multiple priorities, and communicates effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
The salary range for this role is $120,000 to $140,000 commensurate with experience and skills.
What You Will Do
Support the planning, coordination, and execution of technology initiatives aligned with business goals.
Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to define program scope, timelines, and success criteria.
Maintain program plans, track progress, and identify potential risks or blockers.
Facilitate cross-team communication to ensure alignment, transparency, and accountability.
Support governance tasks such as reporting, documentation, and milestone tracking.
Translate technical information into clear updates and business outcomes for stakeholders.
Drive effective meetings, follow-ups, and deliverables to keep projects on track.
Contribute to defining and tracking key program metrics to measure progress and efficiency.
Escalate issues proactively and collaborate on solutions to maintain momentum.
What You Will Need
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience.
3+ years of experience in project or program management, ideally within a technical or product-focused environment.
Solid understanding of software development processes, systems architecture, and data workflows.
Experience working with engineering and product teams; familiarity with SDLC, Agile, and modern tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Confluence).
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to summarize complex information effectively.
Demonstrated ability to drive clarity, organize priorities, and maintain cross-functional alignment.
Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven problem-solving.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is preferred.

Exposure to AI/ML, data programs, or media/entertainment industry projects is a plus.
