UTA’s NextGen Marketing team seeks a mid-level Marketing Director to support its growing client base. The director will aid existing accounts with an emphasis on client service, brand strategy, and partnership development. The ideal individual must be a trusted partner to our key account clients, a strategist that expertly crafts insights and plans for brands to connect with young consumers, an account director that’s able to provide concise and actionable feedback, and a coach to junior team members that leads by example. They need to be Gen Z fluent, on top of trends and able to act as a translator between our clients and Gen Z team. The Executive will also lead growth and new business efforts within the accounts they are staffed on and constantly assess opportunities for upselling and expanding work. This Executive will report to a Senior Marketing Executive.

The salary range for this role is $150-$175K commensurate with experience and skills.

What you Will Do

  • Oversight of 2-3 key Next Gen accounts

  • Serving a trusted advisor for clients and creating space for them to discuss successes, challenges and opportunities.

  • Leading strategic decision making for the accounts in which they lead

  • Build project roadmaps for teams to follow and execute against

  • Leading presentation strategy

  • Recommend and negotiate talent partnerships and lead dealmaking with creators and high-level talent.

  • Reviewing all materials (decks, talent recommendations, creative) before it’s sent to client and providing concise and strategic feedback that up levels all client deliverables

  • Gaining a deep understanding of clients’ business challenges and aligning them with

UTA services

  • Understanding of the UTA ecosystem to provide clients with the right internal connections and UTA services outside of the Next Gen Team.

  • Mitigating client challenges

  • Writing clear and cohesive proposals and SOW’s

  • Coaching junior team members on how to uplevel their work, strengthen client relationships and sell in their work.

  • Joining IAT across accounts and meaningfully contribute to 360 campaigns

  • Collaborating with Operations to identify areas for optimization and efficiencies

  • Serving as point of contact for interagency collaborations

  • Having the ability to represent the Next Gen team in collaborative pitches and inter departmental meetings.

  • Growing accounts organically and selling across service lines.

What You Will Need

  • 7+ years of experience in a client service role at a creative, talent, influencer or marketing agency.

  • 5+ year of experience managing teams

  • Expertise in social first campaign strategy and development

  • Oversight of critical accounts and high-level clients within the agency

  • Experience running social, influencer and 360 campaigns.

  • Expert level negotiation and dealmaking skills to secure talent partnerships.

  • Responsible for client finances and in-depth experience, writing scopes and tracking expenses for the account.

  • An interest and aptitude for the trends affecting the intersection of marketing, entertainment, and culture

  • Strong client-service orientation

  • High degree of motivation, and ability to demonstrate creative thinking in outside the box ways.

  • Impeccable organizational and time management skills and strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to navigate an organization and operate in an incredibly fast paced, multifaceted, demanding environment

  • Strong ability to develop client-facing marketing presentation materials (decks) for a variety of situations, informational, strategic, and creative.

  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and/or Google Slides, Doc, Sheets, and AI a must
