UTA is excited to offer incoming juniors and seniors the opportunity to apply for the UTA x ATL Externship. This program is designed to provide students with an in-person learning experience focused on the media and entertainment industry.

Selected participants will gain hands-on experience through immersive workshops and interactive panels, while building meaningful connections with industry professionals and a network of like-minded peers across the greater Atlanta area. The UTA Externship is a professional development program that offers insider knowledge to help give you a competitive edge as you begin your career journey.

What to Expect

Over six months, you’ll tap into everything Atlanta and UTA have to offer, building connections that can help launch your career.

Each month, you’ll attend a two-hour, in-person session at UTA’s Midtown Atlanta office, led by industry professionals and leaders. These sessions will introduce you to key areas of Atlanta’s sports and entertainment ecosystem, including talent representation, marketing, event management, and more.

At the conclusion of the program, you’ll join an exclusive network of peers and professionals, with connections that can open doors to future opportunities in the sports and entertainment industry.

Who Should Apply

• Juniors or seniors currently enrolled at a college or university in the greater Atlanta area

• Available to attend in-person sessions at the UTA Atlanta office starting Thursday, October 8, 2026 and continuing on the second Friday of each month.

• Passionate about pursuing a career in entertainment

• Strong communicators who enjoy building relationships

• Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn
