We are Tennis! The USTA (United States Tennis Association) is the national governing body for the sport of tennis and the leader in promoting and developing the sport’s growth on every level in the United States, from local communities to the crown jewel of the professional game, the US Open.

The Role
The USTA is composed of 17 individual Sections, each representing distinct geographic regions across the United States. All Sections work to support players and promote the growth of the sport locally and nationally. The Section Partnership department serves as a dedicated consulting team that works directly with Section Chief Executive Officers/Executive Directors and their staff to develop and achieve Section-specific goals and objectives. We are seeking a graduate student to support our Section Partnership team. In this role, you will
Serve as an internal consultant for USTA Sections
Support ongoing client projects
Collaborate with key stakeholders across USTA Sections
Help develop best practices for the Section Partnerships department
Analyze key data to learn about our strategy and operations
Work closely with USTA staff to provide insights and recommendations that help further our mission to grow the game of tennis
Program details:
8-week program from June 9 through August 11
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM ET
Hybrid role requiring 3 days per week on-site at our Orlando office.
Compensation: $35.00 per hour
Who You Are
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication abilities and an understanding of collaboration within a decentralized organizational structure
Comfortable and confident presenting to senior-level audiences
Experienced with BI tools and capable of analyzing complex datasets to extract key insights
Management consulting experience is highly desired
Intellectually curious with high standards for personal and organizational performance
Familiarity with Agile development methodology in analytics or business intelligence applications
Strong qualitative and quantitative analysis skills, with the ability to diplomatically identify and articulate challenges and opportunities
Experience within the tennis industry, sports teams/leagues/NGBs, or grassroots advocacy organizations is preferred but not required
