As a Junior Video Producer, you will be part of the Digital team, contributing to the production of high-quality video content that promotes the activities and events of World Aquatics. Your role will involve assisting in the filming, editing, and production of engaging videos tailored for digital and social media platforms.

The Junior Video Producer will play a key role in showcasing the exciting world of international sports to a broad audience.
Key Responsibilities:
Video Production & Filming:
- Assist in filming sports events, behind-the-scenes content, interviews, and promotional materials.
- Operate cameras and related equipment at sports events, press conferences, and other federation activities.
- Collaborate with senior producers to ensure that shoots are well organized and capture high-quality footage.
Post-Production & Editing:
- Edit raw footage into compelling videos for digital and social media platforms, including highlights, interviews, and promotional videos.
- Assist with color correction, sound mixing, and adding graphics, ensuring the content aligns with brand guidelines.
- Create short-form and long-form videos suitable for distribution across social media channels (YouTube, Instagram, X, etc.), as well as internal platforms.
Content Creation & Ideation:
- Contribute creative ideas for video content that engages international audiences and showcases athletes, events, and federation initiatives.
- Work with the media and marketing teams to brainstorm and storyboard ideas for upcoming projects.
Asset Management:
- Organize and manage the federation's video archives, ensuring proper tagging and easy retrieval of footage.
- Maintain and ensure the proper functioning of video equipment (cameras, lighting, microphones, etc.).
Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with the Senior Video Producer, editors, photographers, and social media managers to deliver high-quality content.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to ensure that content meets the federation’s objectives and deadlines.
Event Support:
- Travel to international events as needed to support live coverage, filming, and other production needs.
Profile required
Key Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Media, Communications, or related fields (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in video production, preferably in a sports or event-related industry.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects).
- Experience with camera filming and operation (DSLRs, mirrorless, or professional video cameras).
- Basic knowledge of sound and lighting setups for video production.
- Familiarity with video formats and compression standards for different platforms.
- Creativity: A passion for storytelling and creativity in delivering visually compelling content.
- Communication: Strong communication skills with the ability to work as part of a diverse, international team.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to work under tight deadlines while ensuring high quality and consistency.
- Adaptability: Willingness to travel and work non-traditional hours, especially around live sporting events and global competitions. Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in sports media or production.
- Understanding of the dynamics of international sports and major sporting events.
- Experience in social media content creation and best practices.
- Knowledge of live streaming technologies and production.
