World Tour - Utsunomiya Opener

Team Miami will open their season on the global FIBA 3x3 Pro Circuit in Utsunomiya, Japan.
The Utsunomiya Opener is set for April 25-26, as Miami hope to get off to a quick start on the FIBA 3x3 World Tour.
Team Miami will look to repeat their 2025 triumph in Utsunomiya, which will host the FIBA 3x3 World Tour opener for the fifth time.
The Competition
Competing in Pool B, Team Miami will open play at 2:00 a.m. ET on April 25 against Vienna (Austria).
Miami will also take on Skyliners (Germany) to finish off pool play at 4:10 a.m. ET. The top two teams from each pool will advance to the knockout rounds on Sunday.
Vienna come into the weekend ranked No. 10 out of the 14 teams competing, while Skyliners rank No. 7. Team Miami rank second behind only Ub (Serbia).

Team Miami
Riley Battin, Henry Caruso, James Parrott and Dylan Travis will represent Team Miami, their first time taking the halfcourt together.
This year marks Battin’s first representing Team Miami. Battin was named to the 2026 USA 3x3 Champions Cup Team and won gold at the 2026 FIBA 3x3 Champions Cup in Bangkok alongside Parrott and Justin Pierce and Caden Pierce. He averaged 4.6 points and 6.6 rebounds in five games. Battin previously competed with Los Angeles 3x3 on the 2025 FIBA 3x3 Pro Circuit and finished third at the 2025 USA Basketball 3X Nationals.
Caruso, Parrott and Travis all represented Team Miami on the 2025 3x3 Men’s Pro Circuit . Caruso and Travis also achieved gold in 2025 at the FIBA 3x3 AmeriCup in Leon, Mexico.
2025 Campaign
Team Miami finished as the No. 6-ranked team on the 2025 FIBA 3x3 World Tour. Caruso, Parrott and Travis represented the squad, alongside Trey Bardsley, Mitch Hahn and Andrew Kelly. Hahn will be back with Miami in 2026.
The team picked up their first win at the 2025 Utsunomiya Opener led by Caruso, Hahn, Parrott and Travis. Miami defeated host team Utsunomiya and Raudonvaris (Lithuania) in pool play before besting Partizan (Serbia), Toulouse (France) and Amsterdam (Netherlands) in the knockout stages. Hahn led the Americans with 6.0 points per game.
Team Miami also took top honors at the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Shanghai in September. The Americans lost their first game to Lugano (Switzerland) before winning four games in a row, culminating in a 20-13 win in the final over Hangzhou (China). Caruso earned MVP of the event, averaging 6.4 points per game.
Team Miami’s final victory of the 2025 circuit came at the Dongguan Challenger in October. The Americans recorded a flawless 5-0 record and won the final in overtime against Vienna 22-21. Caruso took home MVP honors again, tallying 6.0 points per game.
